pxf is developed and maintained by a solo independent developer. This privacy policy explains what information is collected through this website and how it is used.
Information We Collect
When you sign up for a pxf beta program, we collect your name and email address. This is the only personal information collected through this website.
The pxf and pxfSend apps are distributed solely through the Apple macOS App store, so you must be signed in with an Apple account. The only information we receive is your email address and pxf purchase history (so we can restore your purchases when you transfer pxf or pxfSend to another device). You may use the “hide my email” option when signing in, and we’ll have no idea who you are.
How We Use Your Information
Your name and email address are used solely to communicate with you about the pxf beta program and pxf app updates. We do not sell, share, or distribute your information to any third parties. You may unsubscribe from these notifications, but you probably won’t want to because we only reach out when there’s a significant update.
Data Storage
Beta signup information is stored securely and is accessible only to the developer. Your Apple ID email is never shared under any conditions.
The pxf and pxfSend Apps
The pxf app itself does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. All video processing happens locally on your Mac. All pxfSend distribution files only remain in the pxfCloud for 30 days before being permanently deleted. You may delete them sooner. The email addresses of the people who receive your files via pxfCloud are stored with your account so that you may revoke access at any time. If you have not explicitly chosen to save an email address to your pxf contacts list, it is deleted when all the files that address may access have been deleted.
